Hi,

wow, this thread is dead for two years. Let’s try to revive it.

I just started with Web.Link. I already made some small apps, like changing parameters, creating pdf from drawing (using RUNMACRO()), etc.

But I am still struggling with the API itself.

I did not found a way yet to export a file as STEP. There is this pfcModel.Export() Method, but I have problems to get all parameters right (“Type Mismatch”).

Maybe, someone has a clue.

what’s nice about backup, and it’s the way i have used it is when you bust a part off a family table and need to save it to a different directory. Do not just use ‘save’ or ‘save as’ because it wants to write to the directory where the generic is. Use ‘Backup’ and you can choose where it goes (by default it will go to the working dir, but you can change it). It will not leave a copy of the new stand alone part in the directory where the generic part is.

I have a problem with the path showing for embeded symbols in notes. The confusing part is that it happens only sometimes!!
Is there a way to get rid of the path when we edit the note?
I have tried saving the symbol on different paths incuding my working directory and it didn’t work.

You help would be appreciated.

There was no need to enter transition mode. You choose the transition with the value you choose for the round radii.

I’m torn between retiring the site gracefully or watching with interest to see how fast it falls off the front page. I don’t think I could bear to keep the site live after that.

you mean we could use transition mode and select the optional surface in the “patch” type round transition mode?
