Things you can do in an alternate window

Pro/E always maintains a current window, but if you have other windows open, you can do plenty of neat stuff. For instance, you can spin/pan/zoom and shade. You can also get info on parent/child relationships. You can mess with the datum displays for that window, as well as layers, but you can't measure.

It's important to be at the top level menu in these other windows; any menu item or icon that isn't grayed out is fair game. The Info and View menus seem to be the most functional.

This is especially useful in rerouting failed features.
